How do I access my free histology continuing education included with membership?

NSH Core Education members have the opportunity to earn 6 free continuing education credits each year. There is a new CEU opportunity posted every quarter on the NSH website. You must be logged in to view them. Enhanced Education members have access to a library of free histology CE webinars on the online learning center, elearn.nsh.org. Here you can also find other free member resources like troubleshooting guides, checklists, and sample SOPs.

How do I keep track of my CEUs?

All continuing education records are maintained through the NSH CE Tracker.  To access the NSH CE Tracker, click here.  Events attended through NSH, such as the Annual Convention are added for you. Other non-NSH events, such as state meetings must be self-reported using the event dropdown menu in the session tracker. You can print certificates from the CE Tracker, however, NSH does not send your CEUs to ASCP. You are responsible for providing them if documentation is requested.

What is The Block?

The Block is NSH’s member community. It includes an Open Forum where you can post questions and receive real-time advice from other members for troubleshooting, etc.  You can access The Block for free as an NSH member, using the same login as you use to login to your NSH membership account. https://theblock.nsh.org/home

How do I qualify for member pricing?

To qualify for member pricing, you must be logged into your NSH account. Once logged in, you will automatically see the member pricing for continuing education credit courses on elearn.nsh.org and the events available for registration through the nsh.org website. If you do not see member pricing, and you have purchased a membership, contact the NSH office at 443-535-4060.
